Thoughts on 'Car Radio' by Twenty One Pilots.

In this day and age, I find it very hard to find songs with well-written lyrics. People seem to have abandoned emotion and creativity in favour of auto-tune and hundred dollar bills. This song, however, has well crafted and emotive nature that not even some poetry can achieve. I was very pleasantly surprised by the deep and philosophical nature of the lyrics and all of the complicated thoughts they managed to inspire within me. It is not often that a 21st century song can get me to think about the meaning of life, while also relating to me on a personal level. And yet, Car Radio managed to do just that. The song is about somebody whos´ radio has been stolen. It then follows the persons' train of thought as their mind, without the usual distraction of music, goes to places that he would normally ignore.
